Sea Day 11-2-14

Now I am awake at 7:30 AM when I could be sleeping in.  No ocean motion here….very smooth seas.  We decided to get up and meet Judy and Kay for breakfast then head on to our Miniature Golf Tournament with the other girls.  We ran into Deb and Nancy at breakfast.  We were to meet at the “Brilliance Links” on deck 13 at 10:30 AM.  It was so ghastly hot and sunny up there we could hardly stand it but we pressed on.  Karen and Patty where there when we got up there and Carol and Sharon came too so all of us were there but two…Rita and Suzy didn’t come.  We had fun and there was a lot of laughing and cheering going on.  We finished the ninth hole and decided to tally our scores in the Windjammer with a cool drink.  Judy Kay and I came in first and Nancy came in first in overall score although I believe that Nancy was not playing by the rules we were using.
I took "Herbie" off the door...the neighbors disapproved since now they will not be able to find their cabin.

I guess the lifeguard hadn't moved in awhile

Kay always smiling

Debbie is serious about this score thing

I was waiting for the seagull

These were at the top of the glass elevators

They were surprisingly life like

We all scattered to go look at pictures and of course they were having the shipboard shop sales and everyone must go and see if there is anything you simply cannot live without.  We all bought some things and I came back to the cabin to write the blog and Debbie went to the casino.  When I checked yesterday I was still in the top 20 in the slot tournament although I had slipped to 12th place now.  Tonight is formal night…again.  I think they just do this as a way to make money with photographs.

Tomorrow is Curacao and I haven’t been there before.  We were going to do a tour but they are sold out so we decided to go with Kay and Judy and get a taxi to take us around.  More tomorrow.
