We stopped rocking as soon as we entered the harbor this
morning at 7 AM. Not a big day planned
here which was good since it is overcast and raining off and on. We take our time to get up and moving then
meet Kay and Judy to head to breakfast.
Nobody seems in a hurry today with the rain and chill. We sat talking after breakfast then when we
went to the atrium to get the elevator to our cabin, we found they were
rehearsing the acrobatic show they will do tonight. The speed with which they hoisted that girl
up 14 decks in a sling was enough to make my stomach drop. They did these shows on the Oasis as well and
they were great. These kids are so talented
and limber.
We got our stuff together and headed off the ship to just do
some shopping. We walked around at the
vendors and a few purchases were made.
The girls were mainly wanting to use the free wifi in the terminal
building. Apparently all the crew were
too. We sat in the lobby while everyone
but me (I didn’t bring my phone in my bag when I left the ship) checked
emails,, sent emails and just ignored me.
Soon they tired of struggling to send things since the bandwidth was
challenged and they went with me to get back on the ship. We went to lunch and sat up there leisurely
enjoying conversation. Judy was going to
nap, Kay was going for a walk, Debbie was working on our door decoration and I
was writing the blog. I must stop and
get ready for dinner. Tonight we are
dining at the alternate (pay) restaurant Chops Grille then going to the show
who is a comedian. Kay checked the
weather with her wifi and it is not looking good for Bar Harbor tomorrow. Debbie went to check on our excursions and they
said the captain hasn’t made a decision yet as to whether we will go to Bar
Harbor or not….supposed to be storms and high winds…not good for a tender
port…..we are bummed.
Looking forward to photos when you get the chance - I myself am thinking about going off the internet our whole cruise. Can it be done??? We'll see.
